guest house life through the eyes of our dog Tuna

hi, my name is Tuna and I live here. 

This was not always so. I can hardly remember the days before I found Bernie and Andrea, I know I was always hungry then as I had to share a bowl of food with two grown-up dogs. The others were living in the same place as I but I tried to hide myself in one of the bushes, tried to go out of their way, and only came out when the lady with the food came. The other two dogs didn't like to share with me, as the smallest of us I had to wait until they've finished - and then there was nothing in the bowl anymore. I had a mummy and sisters and brothers, but I really can't remember where they all were at that time.

But I very well remenber the firts time I've seen Bernie! He came walking down the road with some other people, he looked so strong to me, so caring and friendly. I decided that I want to be with him! I came straight out of the bush and run towards Bernie, tried to climb up his legs, my ears were flapping, I was so exited. Bernie bent down and talked to me, he has touched me like no one else has ever touched me before, and the Andrea came and she also also put her hands on me and stroked me... what a feeling!
They didn't take me with them then, I was so disappointed, but the came in the evening and brought me some food! food for me alone! a whole bowl full!
The next day they came again and brought food and a big carton box with them. As I have finished eating, Bernie grabbed me and pushed me into that box! What was that supposed to be? I tried to get out, struggled, but no way I could escape. When I finally was freed out of the box I found myself in a completely different place. Andrea was there and Bernie, a food bowl and a water bowl, no bush, but soft grass: did they really take me home with them? Full of exitement I explored my new surroundings, I browsed around until I was so tired that I rolled myself up upon something soft (now I know this is called "coushion") and fell asleep.

 When I woke up the next day Bernie and Andrea were still there - and more food!
From that day on I started getting nice and round.
